This morning, between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., the official Volkswagen F. Tomé dealership (Calle de Tauro, 27 - Madrid) hosted the first Iberian stop of the ambitious ID. Buzz World Record EV Tour, an expedition led by German Rainer Zietlow, which seeks to set a new Guinness World Record by traveling through the greatest number of countries in the world in a single journey with a 100% electric vehicle.

During the meeting, specialized media, professionals from the tire and automotive sectors, and sustainable mobility enthusiasts had the opportunity to get a close look at the Volkswagen ID. Buzz LWB (long wheelbase), the star model of the expedition, equipped with an 86 kWh net battery and GitiSynergyH2 tires, specifically designed for electric vehicles. The expedition, which departed on June 24 from Hannover (Germany), will cover more than 80,000 kilometers and 75 countries on five continents, demonstrating that electric mobility is prepared to face the most demanding challenges on the planet: extreme climates, uneven terrain, remote areas and a charging infrastructure that is still under development.

Tiresur, exclusive distributor in the Iberian Peninsula of the Giti brand, supports this initiative that reinforces the role of the tire as a key element for safety and performance in the mobility of the future.

The ID. Buzz Tour team will continue its route towards Lisbon, where it will make its second Iberian stop this afternoon, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., before continuing its journey.
